10 Ways You Can Give to the Alzheimer's Association Utah Chapter

  1. The Founder's Society: Include the Utah Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association in your will or trust. Sample bequest language is:
"I give, devise and bequeath¬¬_____ [Insert written amount of gift, percentage of the estate, or description of property] to the Utah Chapter of the Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders Association, Inc. (Alzheimer's Association) located at 845 East 4800 South, Suite 120, SLC, UT 84107 for its unrestricted use and purpose."

Notify us of your bequest and you will automatically be included in this group of our most committed supporters. Please call for further information.
  2. Planned Gifts: Name us as beneficiary of a life insurance policy or retirement plan. Or ask about a Charitable Gift Annuity, a gift that enables you to meet your charitable goals, provides you with stable lifetime payments and can offer immediate tax savings.
  3. Donation: The most immediate way to show you care. Make checks payable to Alzheimer's Association Utah Chapter or call us about a credit card donation.
  4. Online donation: Go to the national Alzheimer's Association web site (www.alz.org/donate) and designate your gift for local chapter use by selecting the Utah Chapter before making your donation online.
  5. Memorials & Tribute Gifts: Make a gift in honor or memory of a loved one.
  6. Matching Gift Program: If your company has a program, double your support.
  7. Employee Giving Programs: Programs like Community Health Charities Utah and United Way are methods which you can use to designate your gift—through an automatic paycheck withdrawal—to the Alzheimer's Association Utah Chapter. As a proud member of Community Health Charities Utah, you can call our office to start a CHC campaign at your workplace.
  8. Memory Walk & Events: Take steps to end Alzheimer's by forming a team which raises funds and participates in the annual Utah Memory Walk. Volunteer committees plan and execute the event and you can help there too. The annual "An Evening to Remember" Gala fundraising dinner each Spring is another event you won't want to miss.
  9. Sponsorship of the Association: Your organization can sponsor events; purchase a table at our annual Gala; donate items for Silent Auctions, prizes and incentives for high performing Memory Walk teams, or to be sold to benefit the Utah Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association. Provide a year-long, ongoing sponsorship by assisting with the general administrative expenses involved in providing all the programs and supportive services. These donations will be recognized and public relations activities may be coordinated for maximum mutual benefit.
  10. Affinity programs: Enroll at www.tricordia.com/AlzUtah.go and support the Utah Chapter by shopping at participating local merchants or through online purchases. At no extra cost to you, a merchant rebate—or donation—is made to benefit our Association.
